Homeless women returning to society from prison have nowhere to go. Young adults living on the streets involved in criminality, don't have the support, education, and conflict resolution awareness that will address their issues. As a result they turn back to drugs, prostitution, and criminality for survival. According to Illinois Department of Correction, 2017-2018 statistical report, there are over 5,000 women and Young adults incarcerated in Illinois State Prisons and Juvenile Detention Centers, and 3,500 in Illinois Federal Prisons a 1000 of these Women and Young adults will parole, and be release on probation respectfully, in 2018-19, this is a population at risk. Our organization is responding to the need in the community to house homeless women and young adults coming out of prison and detention centers. If we provide assistant to these women and youths and young adults, we can cut the cost of housing them for years in prison. We are humbly requesting a financial donation from you to assist us with securing a location to house our clients. I was a Victim of this injustice of the criminal Justice system. That experience taught me many valuable lessons. Being incarceration is one of the worst experiences an individual can endure. I endured the Passing of My Mother while I was incarcerated, through prayer and my faith in God, I survived. On a weekly base, the same women returned back to prison, many never completing parole, many returning with new charges. After speaking with many of these women, and listening to their tragic stories, My heart was filled with sorrow and empathy. Many women didn't make it in society, they either came back with extended sentencing, many with life sentences, many were killed. Many Women didn't have a plan for survival. Through prayer, a passion develop in my heart, saying to Me, how can I help my Sister's when I leave, how can I give back to society. 90 days before going home, I developed a plan for my life, and vow to start an Organization to solely assist Women with a plan, to stay out of Jails and Prisons. This plan aided Me to continue being a productive Citizen. If this format is followed it will cut the recidivism rate. Finally I started writing my first book in prison title "In the Raw, Life on the Inside of a Women Prison" Second book "The Truth, Life of a El-Rukn Moabites" (with the approval of the Imam) I hope to complete these books of my real life experiences.

Help me, Lord, to represent You well so that others might be drawn to Your love and salvation.
Reading for 2023 Father God, we want to be just like You. Help us to grow more and more like You each day!
Thank You, Lord, for saving me. Please shine Your light brightly through my broken life so others will be invited to know You too.
True Riches
In His teaching and by His example, Jesus warned His followers to avoid hoarding possessions, to give to the poor, and to value what will not rust or decay. “For where your treasure is,” Jesus said, “there your heart will be also” (Luke 12:34).
We might think our things give meaning to our life. But when the latest gadget breaks or we misplace or lose something valuable, we begin to realize that it is our relationship with the Lord that satisfies and endures. It is our love and care for others that does not wither and fade away.
Let’s ask the Lord to help us see clearly what we value, to show us where our heart is, and to help us seek His kingdom above all (12:31)
